Every great partnership starts with love for a product. For Maddison Brown, that love began in 2021 when she became one of Sand Society’s very first supporters. She tried our Sand-Free Towels, part of our core range, and instantly fell for their practicality, style, and effortless luxury. What started as a simple purchase sparked a shared vision between Sand Society and Outside Beauty & Skincare, an SPF and skincare brand.
Outside Beauty & Skincare was founded by sisters Maddison Brown and Allyson Popovic, and is made right here in Australia for everyday life under the Australian sun.
Fast forward to today, and we’re thrilled to introduce the Gardenia Beach Towel, a thoughtful co-designed collaboration between Maddison and Alyson’s brand Outside Beauty & Skincare, and Sand Society. Together, we’ve reimagined our much-loved Sand-Free Towels into a design that’s both elegant and purposeful.

The Gardenia Sandless Beach Towel is crafted in a pine green and cream hue, reflecting both elegance and ease. Made from 20+ recycled plastic bottles, it’s lightweight, ultra-absorbent, and dries twice as fast as regular towels. That means no sand, no dampness - just effortless, sustainable luxury for every sun-soaked day.

What makes this towel extra special is its story. Maddison’s firsthand experience as a fan of our core Sand-Free Towels inspired the design and have created a towel that’s as thoughtful as it is beautiful.
