Order Information
Yes - once your order has been shipped, you'll receive an email with your tracking number and a link to track your parcel. All orders are sent with tracking.
Yes! We ship worldwide including New Zealand, the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Shipping rates and delivery timeframes are displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
All orders are dispatched within 24 hours of being placed (excluding weekends and public holidays). Estimated delivery times are:
- Australia Standard: 4–6 business days
- Australia Express: 1–2 business days
- New Zealand Standard: 5–8 business days
- New Zealand Express: 3–5 business days
- Rest of World Standard: 10–15 business days
- Rest of World Express: 6–10 business days
For US orders, duties and taxes are calculated and included at checkout - there are no surprise charges on delivery. What you see is what you pay.
For all other international orders, customs duties, import taxes, or fees may be charged upon arrival in your destination country. These charges are outside of our control and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before placing an order.
We automatically display pricing in your local currency based on your location. You can also manually change your currency using the selector in the header or footer of the website.
We aim to process orders as quickly as possible. If you need to make a change, please contact us within 30 minutes of placing your order at hello@sandsociety.com.au and we'll do our best to help. Please note our team is available Monday to Friday during business hours (AEST) - requests received outside of these hours will be reviewed the next business day. We cannot guarantee changes can be made after your order has been processed.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), as well as PayPal, Afterpay, and Apple Pay.

We don't offer gift wrapping at this time, but our products arrive beautifully packaged and ready to gift. You're also welcome to add a personal note to your order at checkout.
Product Information
RPET stands for Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate - essentially plastic bottles that have been collected, processed, and spun into a high-performance microfibre yarn. It's the same performance material as virgin polyester, but made from waste that would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.
Each Sand Society towel is made from 20+ recycled plastic bottles. It's one of the reasons we're proud to offer a product that's both high-performing and better for the planet.
Yes. Our towels are made from RPET microfibre - recycled plastic bottles — and are free from harmful chemicals. We take care to ensure our manufacturing processes are as eco-conscious as possible. You can learn more on our Values & Sustainability page.
Our towels are machine washable. Wash in cold water and avoid fabric softeners as they can reduce the sand-free performance of the microfibre. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
f a product is listed on our website it's in stock and ready to ship. Out of stock items will be clearly marked as "Sold Out" - you can sign up to be notified when they're back.
Yes! Digital gift cards are available on our website in a range of amounts and are delivered straight to your inbox.
Returns
We accept returns on full-priced items within 30 days of delivery for both Australian and international orders. Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags intact. Please visit our Returns Policy page for full details.
We do not facilitate direct exchanges. If you'd like a different colour or size, simply return your item for a refund (AU) or store credit (international) and place a new order. For full details visit our Returns Policy page.
International returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery at the customer's expense. International orders are eligible for store credit only - refunds to the original payment method are not available. Store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit under any circumstances, unless the item is faulty, defective, or fails to comply with applicable consumer guarantees. For full details visit our Returns Policy page.
Email us at hello@sandsociety.com.au with your order number and reason for return and we'll provide you with return instructions. Refunds and store credit are processed once the item has been received and inspected.
